How OMI works

Editorial standards, sourcing, and corrections

OMI serves real estate professionals with original guides, clearly attributed market summaries, network information, and an owner-reviewed vendor directory.

Original work and market summaries

Original OMI guides are labeled as original. When OMI summarizes reporting from another publisher, the article names that publisher, links to the original report, and identifies the page as an OMI summary. OMI does not present syndicated reporting as its own original reporting.

Sourcing and links

Material facts in market summaries come from the linked reporting source. Readers should use the original link for the publisher’s full reporting and context. OMI removes feed boilerplate and does not reproduce an outside publisher’s full article.

Images

OMI uses OMI-controlled imagery, approved publisher imagery, or clearly illustrative fallback artwork. Unapproved publisher images are not copied into OMI’s library.

Advertising and commercial relationships

Paid placements are labeled as advertising, featured placements, or partner content. Commercial participation does not change OMI’s editorial sourcing labels and does not guarantee vendor approval.

Vendor review

Every public vendor listing requires an owner decision. OMI reviews the identity, category, service area, and contact information supplied with the application before publication. Payment or membership never publishes a listing automatically and is not a guarantee of performance or deal results.

Corrections

If you believe an OMI page contains a factual error, send the page link, the disputed detail, and supporting information to [email protected]. OMI reviews correction requests and updates material errors when verified. Significant corrections should be made transparently on the affected page.
